In the present world it is becoming far more impossible to avoid
stressful circumstances. Over stress can be unhealthy which is why learning to
relax is so essential. People cope with stress when they go to sleep at nighttime.
Our body become very relaxed and our body temperature, pulse, blood pressure
and heart rate decline as we sleep. It gives our mind and body an opportunity
to refresh allowing us to face the following day with improved liveliness.
Relaxation does the opposite of what stress do to us. Relaxation
gives the body a break and helps cancel out many problems that stress may bring.
It can also reduce muscle strain. Knowledge about relaxation is like learning a
new ability. This takes practise to become good at relaxation. Following are a few ideas to help you achieve
relaxation. The majority of us take breathing for settled. In stressful situations
our breathing can go off sync.
We may not even become aware of it which can lead to anxiety,
headaches and muscle tension. Practicing deep breathing exercises on a daily
basis can help relieve stressful mind-set. It is necessary to relax our muscles.
When we are stressed, our muscles become tensed. Know to recognise muscle tension
and then learn to relieve the same. All people were great at imagining things
all the time when they were children.
You
must again learn to use your imagination to relieve your stress. As an example,
imagine you're sitting in a garden and can hear the chirping sounds of birds
while feeling the warmth of the early morning sun on your body. Doing exercise
can have a calming effect that makes you perform, think and feel in good health.
Doing yoga is definitely good but even just going for a brisk walk can make you
feel so much healthier.
