PageRank is a numeric and exponential value that indicates how important a page is on the Internet, the scale is from 0-10. PageRank is important because it is a significant part of the algorithm that determines how your site is listed in a search result pages. When a page's PageRank is calculated, one takes all the inbound links into account, both internal and external links, so it is considered as both important and necessary.
You could say that a link into a page is a vote to the side. The more voices, more important are the website. PageRank to the page that links to your site has something to do with how important is the voice that originated from that page is, and also the relevance has something to say about it. It is also important with the anchor text of links. Anchor text should have the same words.
Content shows that the link is relevant to the page created and thus, links to the same. It appears that there is a correlation between PageRank and the position in the hit list for Google search. Even if the pages have low PageRank, it may well be high on the hit list. When a new site is created on the internet, it begins on zero page rank. Activity begins with the website through such link building.
